Jul 19, 2016Being a longtime New Yorker I have frequently visited Chelsea Market. I have always been a fan but have never even thought to send a basket online. So for a friends birthday I recently looked into it. I went online, ordered, and within a few days my friend had a beautiful basket delivered full of Chelsea Market goodies!!!

My comments here are because I am so deeply appreciative of Chelsea Market Basket's commitment to make things right for the customer. I ordered a sympathy gift basket a day or two before Christmas. Although I paid a premium delivery charge with the guarantee the basket would be delivered the day after Christmas, it was not delivered in time. I loved the way the representative handled this. She took the time to listen to me, immediately looked up the details, confirmed the delivery was late, and then refunded my entire delivery fee with no reluctance or additional questions. As it turns out, the late delivery was not the fault of Chelsea Basket. UPS had posted an incorrect delivery date. Yet Chelsea Market Basket took responsibility and made me feel like I was the most important customer in the world! Thank you Chelsea Market Basket!
