This rugelach comes from a new purveyor for us, The Rugelach Shop in Elmwood Park NJ. Our staff has tasted Rugelach from many local bakeries and this one is easily tops them all.
Rugelach, a New York City food, almost as Iconic as bagels and lox, is an eastern European cookie - small pastry made from sour cream, cream cheese, and butter and a good bit of love.
