Holiday Shipping FAQ

When will my order ship?

During December, all online orders are shipped on a first-in, first-out basis. All UPS orders are shipped generally within two business days of receipt.  If you would like us to delay your shipment, please leave a note in the order note field. 

How much does it cost to ship my order?

We charge $14 per address to ship anywhere in the contiguous United States. We typically ship with UPS Ground, which takes 1 to 6 business days.  We do not ship outside of the USA.  For expedated shipping methods, the following rates apply:

What are your telephone hours during December?

During December, we have telephone support Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm EST. For the two weekends before Christmas, we will provide telephone support on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm EST. Call us at 212-727-1111 or toll-free 888-727-7887.

Can I see my orders from previous years?

Since we recently migrated to Shopify, your order history is not available online. If you use our Contact Us Form or call us at 212-727-1111, we will email you a file with your previous year's orders.

How do I place a large holiday order?

If you are ordering online, our site makes it quick to place orders for up to 10 different shipping addresses. If you are shipping to more than 10 addresses, please use our Group Order Form (GOF). Please call us with any questions at 212-727-1111. Our Group Order Form is an Excel file you can use to enter your order details for each recipient.  Shipping for GOP orders takes approximately 2-3 business days from the time we receive your order file. 

Can I use my Group Order Form file from last year?

Yes, you can, but please understand our assortment of gifts does change from year to year, and some of our prices have changed. When you use last year's file, we will contact you with the selections that have changed.

Can I pick-up my order at our Chelsea Market Store?

There is no same-day delivery or pickup during December. All orders will be sent and delivered within regular business days, Monday through Friday. Your order can be picked up in our Manhattan Store, but generally, we will need two business days to have the order ready for pick-up. Call us for details about pick-up.

Can I customize the gifts in my order?

During December, we can do some customization. If you provide a few extra days, we can customize our catalog gifts to accommodate 1 or 2 special components and create custom-printed gift cards to accompany them. Generally, we only do this for orders of $2k or more. Call us for details. 

Can I create a custom gift basket in our store in Chelsea Market?

Our store is the perfect place to create a custom gift. We have a wide selection of baskets and decorative gift containers to choose from in constructing your gift. We can assemble and arrange the gift for $20 charge. For an additional $14, we can ship the gift via UPS Ground from our shipping facility, but we require an additional two business days for transit. 

What are the order deadlines to ensure that the gifts arrive by Christmas?

Please be aware that we ship our baskets from New York and New Jersey. If you are shipping UPS Ground, please note it may take up to 6 days to reach the intended destination (ex, most West Coast addresses will take 5 shipping days). Please refer to the shipping map below to see how many days it will take to send your gift. To ensure your gifts are delivered by Christmas, the following deadlines apply to orders shipping UPS Ground:

• For orders going across the country, we must receive your order by Wednesday, 12/17 at 12pm noon EST
• For areas in a 2-Day Zone on the map below, we must receive your order by Monday, 12/22 at 12pm noon EST
• For areas in a 1-Day Zone on the map below, we must receive your order by Tuesday, 12/23 at 12pm noon EST

We cannot guarantee that any gifts placed after these deadlines will arrive by Christmas. Please note that these cut-off dates may change during the month. Order early!

There will be no pick-ups, messenger deliveries, or UPS deliveries on Christmas Day, Thursday, 12/25.
