The Peppermint People

The story began in 1995 when Sir Michael Colman brought cuttings of Black Mitcham mint back from the U.S., reintroducing a historic English variety long absent from the region. From a single tennis-court plot to over 100 acres today, every plant remains genetically linked to those original cuttings, resulting in a uniquely refined flavor and aroma that have made Summerdown Mint globally recognized as “the peppermint people.”
