I had this in the UK. First at an afternoon tea in Edinburgh, Scotland. Only a half tea sandwich on the tray so when I was on the shore of Windermere, I bought the only real English sandwich offered by the cafe. Chutney and cheese or more specifically, Westmorland Chutney. A little sweet and a little acidic. A perfect combination with English cheddar. I’ll eat it everyday until the jar is empty!
