These snacks are made for us using Uncle Henry’s pretzels from Pennsylvania and Wilbur's Chocolate, which is a well established chocolatier also based in Pennsylvania. Wilbur was started in about 1860 in Philadelphia and is known for both the quality of the chocolate and the craft of enrobed chocolate confections.
Uncle Henry’s pretzels are hand-rolled and twisted by the Pennsylvania Dutch Mennonite and Amish community using the finest sourdough and other natural ingredients. They’re then slowly baked in a stone hearth oven and go through a supervised drying process. This ensures they achieve their delicious crunch and wholesome taste.
The combination of crunchy, salty and chocolate makes these a very original snack. They are an irresistible taste and texture temptation that we are proud to put our name on to. Although they are not exactly from NYC, we added the pigeons to the label to give them a bit of a New York accent.
