This is the pure essence of licorice, with the natural sweetness from the licorice root. Sweet taste balanced with strength and a touch of finesse from pure aniseed. To many, No.1 is not just their number one, it's their one and only.

Gluten free- made from gluten free rice flour.

Made in Denmark with premium ingredients:
- Raw Licorice Roots: The Greek name for licorice is 'Glycyrrhiza glabra', which means 'the sweet root'. This name is no understatement, because in its natural state the licorice root is 30-50 times sweeter than plain sugar. We gather our fine licorice roots from Italy, Afghanistan and the Middle East.

- Molasses: The sweet sugar product, molasses, is essential for the black color of the licorice, and it also has dark flavors that enhance the intense licorice flavor.

- Rice Flour : Our Licorice is cooked with rice flour and is gluten free. The rice flour is completely taste neutral.

- Sweet Licorice: Sweetness balanced with strength and a touch of finesse from pure aniseed.
